Tribo Tugbong Malay Ati Presentation at the Intramuros
June 17, 2005 – Tribo Tugbong of Pandan, Antique, Philippines will be having a Malay Ati presentation representing the Binirayan Tribe in celebration of WOW Philippines, Antique Day at the San Ignacio Plaza, Intramuros, Manila on June 26, 2005 at 2 o’clock in the afternoon.
The two-week event from June 15 to 28, 2005 at the Intramuros which they call “Kabugana-an sang Western Visayas” is designed to showcase the best of the region. This is in cooperation between the Department of Tourism (DOT) 6, the local government units, and the private sector.
Pandananons are all invited to witness Tribo Tugbong as it shows one of the best of the Pandananons and Antiqueños.

Barangay San Andres won the 2004 Mardi Gras Competition during the joint municipal and religious town fiesta in Pandan, Antique on April 21 to 25, 2004. As the barangay won last year and in preparation for the Binirayan Festival, it didn’t join the Mardi Gras competition this year at the Tugbong Festival. The tribe though had a short exhibition during the closing ceremony on April 25, 2005. Photos are available here.
